Beyond the Code

While computer science is a big part of my life, I also enjoy exploring the world outside of programming. Creativity and curiosity drive me, whether I’m drawing, reading, or traveling. These passions keep me balanced and help me bring new perspectives into my work.

A Little Bit About Me:

I am originally from Moscow, Russia and moved to the U.S. at the age of 12, so I got to grow up in both cultures. I believe my origin story gives me an open-minded perspective on things and allows me to always be innovative with my approach.

Creative Interests

I love drawing and crafting. Art gives me the freedom to experiment and express ideas in ways that complement my technical side.

Books

Reading is another favorite way I recharge. I’m especially drawn to science fiction, with The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy being one of my favorite reads. I enjoy stories that imagine the future of technology and humanity—because they inspire me to think about the kind of future I want to help build (obviously the good kinds of future only).

Travel

I recently participated in the spring break Connect Abroad program in London, where I experienced a mix of academic, cultural, and industry insights. Experiences like this expand my worldview and remind me how important adaptability and global perspectives are in the tech field, and I plan on continuing to expand my culutural horizons.
